There were times I’d go to the market and come home with more plastic bags than groceries. Even when I remembered my tote, I’d still end up using thin plastic for veggies and smaller items. It felt wasteful. That’s why I brought these in: a set of 3 organic cotton muslin mesh produce bags, one small, one medium, one large.
I wanted something simple, lightweight and easy to wash. These are made from unbleached, GOTS-certified organic cotton, so they’re soft but strong. I use the small one for garlic, onions and the medium for tomatoes or apples and the large for greens, bread.
They fold up neatly and live at the bottom of my tote now. I don’t go shopping without them.
Why I chose them (and why people like them)
– Comes in a set of 3 sizes: Small, Medium, Large
– GOTS-certified organic cotton, unbleached and undyed
– Mesh weave is breathable and holds up well over time
– Easy to rinse, wash and reuse
– Biodegradable and plastic-free
How to Care
Rinse out after use, especially if there’s dirt or moisture
Machine or hand wash when needed (laundry bag helps)
Air dry fully before storing or rolling up for next use
These weren’t created to be anything fancy, just something practical, reusable and easy to bring along. And now they’ve naturally become part of how I shop, without me thinking twice.
Small steps, always,
